New this fall season, The Resort at Pelican Hill® introduces an expanded series of etiquette classes for children, young adults and ladies. As the holiday entertaining season approaches, local and visiting guests may choose from a variety of fun, interactive courses designed to enhance their repertoire of protocol, manners and poise.

“Building upon the success of their spring series of children’s resort etiquette classes earlier this year, we will debut a wider variety of programs created for many ages,” said Pelican Hill Managing Director Giuseppe Lama. “As we all prepare to gather together and celebrate the holidays, there’s no better time than the fall season to polish etiquette skills with professional instruction and hands-on practice in our casually sophisticated resort setting.”

Led by Founder and President of the Etiquette School of Beverly Hills-Newport Beach, Kathleen Cover, each program covers a variety of topics, such as favorable first impressions, the art of conversation, dining protocol, writing thank you notes, and travel etiquette. Offering a positive approach to personalized interactive learning, intimate class sizes range from six to 12 students.

“Our resort-based etiquette program provides the perfect setting for students of all ages to enhance their knowledge and practice of social graces,” said Cover, who has 27 years of experience in the luxury hotel and events industry. “Developing confidence in etiquette leads to immediate benefits as we socialize during the holiday season and provides a solid foundation for life as students continue to hone these skills.”
